A new challenge in uncertain times

I joined Breeze mainly for the income opportunity;
I wanted to diversify the risk of having just one income in increasingly uncertain times within the Financial Services sector.

I also wanted  a new challenge - my career has changed significantly over the last decade. New changes in 2012 through the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) will radically change things again – Breeze is my ‘insurance policy’, or my ‘back door’.

Through a relatively small investment of time I have been promoted to Senior Executive so my earnings should increase significantly. I Spent 15 years recruiting, managing, and motivating teams. I relish the thought of returning to that challenge but without the ‘red tape’ that has now become my industry – It’s Show Time!

What value we can co-create together!

It’s great to be on this page, so we have a chance to connect. I am an International Development Specialist and since before I joined Breeze a couple of years ago, I have been based in Bulgaria. From here I maintain lots of contact with friends and business partners in Great Britain, and I also have friends, clients, students and partners here in Bulgaria, and in other parts of eastern/central Europe, Africa, and in north America.

I was born in Windsor, and then lived in London, and later the county of Herefordshire adopted me for many years. After home-educating my son between his ages of 11-16, I waited until he was off to drama school, and then, once foot-loose, I left home too. I trained in the States with Loral Langemeier on her Big Table program for a year, I started an international partnership to deliver education in wealth generation based on Loral’s work after which I decided I wanted to write my own program in personalised economics and real democracy. I lived in London and in Glasgow for a while, and then packed a couple of bags and left for Bulgaria with my lap-top.

The reason I tell you any of this is that it has now, for me, become the right time for me to invite other people into Breeze because, as I was saying to our friend Richard Wall today, more than anything I am passionate about sharing the best education and co-creating community with others, local and global, terrestrial and virtual. It’s what I do anywhere I go now. In all my work in international development in companies and with individuals and communities, anywhere, the one thing we all have in common is the desire to belong, and to share, and to learn from each other to make progress, remember our dreams, bring them front and centre again, and fulfil them.

Whilst I was working in the corporate field, I was planning for the future, as I was sure the bubble would burst. At the same time, I kept thinking, “I can do this!” and eventually in 2000 I took the plunge and set up my own training company One4OneConsultants Ltd. Another Breeze Travel trip

I received an invitation to my cousin’s wedding in Brazil and my first thought was I’d love to go but can I afford it? Immediately I contacted the Breeze Travel service and asked them to investigate the various possibilities for me. I had intended to make it a long weekend, with my wife, travelling to Brasilia on Thursday and returning on the following Tuesday to cut down price as we had recently had a holiday in South Africa via Breeze!

Earning while learning

There is an oft-repeated phrase which says ‘if you keep doing what you keep doing – then you will keep getting what you keep getting.’ It is something I have considered constantly since joining Breeze in 2006.

If we want better lifestyles for ourselves and our families – to live financially worry free – then we have to make conscious decisions to do something about it. Additional income stream with Breeze

I’ve always considered myself to be something of an ideas person. I have many business-related ideas but until I subscribed to Breeze I never had the tools to put them into practice to start earning money. Having the ability to have 5 domains hosted allows me to put some of these ideas into practice.

In January of this year I went to India and had a wonderful tour of Rajasthan. I got to meet the boss of the tour company in Jaipur and got his business card.

I joined Breeze primarily to learn how to successfully promote network marketing opportunities to the UK and North American markets. Since then I haven’t look back. As a Breeze subscriber I decided to take the plunge and build 2 websites. I did so following the simple step by step learning techniques available on-demand to Breeze subscribers through the Breeze Internet Marketing Academy.

Breeze has been brilliant for me and the support is so professional.  I just find people who are looking for another income streams and after a quick chat I introduce the interested people to my Breeze Coordinator who presents the business, answers questions, handles the sale and takes all the worry away from me.

I am making a substantial secondary income with Breeze and my plan is to eventually free up more time to spend with my daughter.

With reference to one of the Breeze accommodation offers, we recently stayed at No 2, The Dunes, Instow, Devon.

My grandparents came down with our family of four. The property was amazing, stunning views of the estuary from the balconies (there were 2.) 

Hot tub in the garden, pool and darts in the games room, 4 double bedrooms and a huge kitchen, dining room, massive lounge and… oh another dining room. We had a fantastic time… what is really outstanding is for the whole week the 6 of us paid £129 in total! That works out at £21.50 each for the week and we had room for 2 more people!!

It is more expensive to stay home! Thank you Breeze, this one trip saved us £721 off the normal price of that property.

I’ve been looking for an outlet to promote my existing business. 

I engaged the services of a web designer and thought that I would be flying high by Jan or Feb with enquiries and phone calls being abundant, not so!  Every time I ring up and discuss SEO or Traffic to my website I end up with another bill. 

So I decided that was enough and the site would languish in cyber space for ever.  However, the gods have smiled on me and through their servant Glynn Courtney I became aware of Breeze.

I have been impressed with Breeze and the simplicity of their services.  I can see opportunities to expand my existing business and develop other income streams.  The real USP for me was being able to manage my own sites, blogs etc without the extra costs of having a ‘web designer/drain on cash resources’ hanger-on!

The flights, transfers and car rental were all arranged for us and everything went smoothly. We had a fantastic time travelling the Garden Route and staying in 5* accommodation.

We have so many lovely memories of a beautiful country, it is hard to pick any one highlight as every stop was so special and different; the lovely relaxing Spier, the safari and lodge at Sanbona, relaxing at De Opstal, the friendly Marine and whales at Hermanus, the gorgeous Fancourt and finally Cape Town and the Bay – we couldn’t have wanted anything better or different.

I joined Breeze in 2009 and immediately transferred my website domain over to Breeze.  First and foremost, the Breeze web-builder software is astonishingly good. 

I began using one of the templates and then customised it for my own purposes.  I changed colour schemes, page templates, style sheets (the things that govern how text is displayed), banner image, footer and much more. 

It’s really easy to get to grips with how it works and before long I had a fully functioning website with content management system that was in line with my corporate branding.  Breeze has offset about £300 of hosting fees and web design fees that run into thousands of pounds. 

So for my business, the savings I achieved through the web-builder alone has paid for my Breeze subscription.

I used to be a Chartered Accountant and Finance Director in the rat race. I’ve been marketing on the Internet for a number of years however I never really cracked how to promote myself effectively. The Breeze Academy Course is exceptional, it is such good value and teaches strategies which EVERY business and entrepreneurial person needs to adopt.

Even people who don’t have a business can set up something brand new or learn how to turn a hobby such as dog breeding, train spotting or photography into a profitable Internet business.
