Why is this so relevant for those of us in Breeze?

I joined Breeze mainly for the income opportunity;
I wanted to diversify the risk of having just one income in increasingly uncertain times within the Financial Services sector.
I also wanted a new challenge - my career has changed significantly over the last decade. New changes in 2012 through the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) will radically change things again – Breeze is my ‘insurance policy’, or my ‘back door’.

I’ve always considered myself to be something of an ideas person. I have many business-related ideas but until I subscribed to Breeze I never had the tools to put them into practice to start earning money. Having the ability to have 5 domains hosted allows me to put some of these ideas into practice.
In January of this year I went to India and had a wonderful tour of Rajasthan. I got to meet the boss of the tour company in Jaipur and got his business card.
When I got back to the UK I felt so good about the tour experience we’d had that I had the idea of introducing the tour company to the UK market – effectively as a UK affiliate. I pitched the idea to him and he was thrilled. Having the Breeze internet tools enabled me to build a website very quickly and importantly to add relevant affiliate income links. The site looks very professional and the tour company are delighted with the speed of progress in setting it all up. I’ve been looking for an outlet to promote my existing business.
I engaged the services of a web designer and thought that I would be flying high by Jan or Feb with enquiries and phone calls being abundant, not so! Every time I ring up and discuss SEO or Traffic to my website I end up with another bill.
So I decided that was enough and the site would languish in cyber space for ever. However, the gods have smiled on me and through their servant Glynn Courtney I became aware of Breeze.

I joined Breeze in 2009 and immediately transferred my website domain over to Breeze. First and foremost, the Breeze web-builder software is astonishingly good.
It caters for the complete novice through to the more experienced/inquisitive sorts. I’m in the latter group and I began experimenting with the web-builder to work out what I can change and how to change it.
I began using one of the templates and then customised it for my own purposes. I changed colour schemes, page templates, style sheets (the things that govern how text is displayed), banner image, footer and much more.
It’s really easy to get to grips with how it works and before long I had a fully functioning website with content management system that was in line with my corporate branding. Breeze has offset about £300 of hosting fees and web design fees that run into thousands of pounds.

I used to be a Chartered Accountant and Finance Director in the rat race. I’ve been marketing on the Internet for a number of years however I never really cracked how to promote myself effectively.
